Troubleshooting Tips
NAVIGATING THE SESSIONS AND SCHEDULE
In Hopin, you can see the full schedule including what is happening in real-time on the Reception page.
You can also use the Event Chat on the right-hand side to send a message to all event attendees.
KEYNOTES AND PANELS
Go to the Stage on the left-hand menu to watch the live stream of the keynotes, panels, and devotionals. This is the main stage of the event.
You can use the Stage chat or Q&A on the right-hand side to ask questions and engage within the main sessions. Just make sure that you have Stage selected (and not Event), to keep all the chat and Q&A relevant to what’s happening on the stage. The Event chat is for the overall event.
SESSIONS
Go to the Session page on the left-hand menu to join the Table Talk Groups and Breakout Sessions.
During transitions, new sessions will appear at the bottom of the “Sessions” page. Please be sure to scroll down during that time and/or refresh your page. Sessions will only show when it is their time on the schedule, and you’ll only see the sessions you have access to.
NETWORKING
Go to the Networking page on the left-hand menu to participate in 1:1 online networking. When asked "Are you ready?" click "Ready.” You’ll be paired with another attendee who will join you on screen, and have 5 minutes to chat.
Click "Connect" to exchange info
Once in the networking meeting, a blue “Connect” button will appear at the bottom of the screen. This button allows participants the ability to quickly and easily exchange contact information, like exchanging business cards at a physical event. If both participants click Connect, a connection registers. When a connection registers, both people will see the other’s contact info on the Connections tab of their Profile.
You can extend the time of the video call if you’d like to continue the conversation. Or you can click the “People” tab on the right side of your screen and direct message them or invite them to a video call.
